that one time

I’m cleaning my apartment and as I do a touching podcast comes on about a dad who wasn’t a cat person but ended up being one when his daughter NEEEEDED a kitten and how sweet it was when the dad started to cry just talking about that cat he didn’t want to love and I was reminded of that one time when my step dad got mad at me and shot my cat with the gun he kept in my closet and I wonder what it would’ve been like to grow up with men that weren’t afraid of feelings
